An annual academia-industry symposium where industry leaders and researchers at the University of Minnesota come together to discuss innovations and challenges in AI implementation for chemicals and materials development and manufacturing.
Graduate students and postdocs -- including 3DEAP trainees -- present posters about their research, network with professionals, and learn about the state of AI in industrial settings.
Journal clubs are led by the trainees, and they are designed to encourage further collaboration across the discipline. Students discuss interesting and relevant papers to their research, practice their Oral Proficiency Exams (OPEs), and share useful resources with each other.
NRT Faculty, Staff, and Students from each NRT across the nation are invited to an Annual Meeting. At this meeting, individuals can share ideas and updated research outcomes from their NRT Program. Program Coordinators and NRT Trainees present posters to foster rich discussion.
Trainees from Cohorts 1 and 2 gathered to get to know each other. Following a brief introduction to the program, trainees, faculty, and staff went bowling to continue fostering community.
The Chemical Biology Interface Training Grant (CBITG) and the 3DEAP Program co-hosted a Science Communication workshop led by Brian Sostek.
